
Yvette A. Rosario graduated from New York University in 2006 with a BA in Mathematics and graduated from CUNY School of Law in 2010. Prior to joining the bench, she clerked for the Hon. Frederick R. McDaniel in the Superior Court in New Jersey. After her clerkship, she joined the New York City Law Department (Law Department) in 2011 where she was an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Family Division prosecuting juvenile delinquency. In 2013, she transferred to the Bronx Tort Division where she defended the City of New York against alleged police misconduct. She left the Law Department in 2015 and joined the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Appellate Division Supreme Court for the State of New York, First Judicial Department (Grievance Committee) where she currently investigates and prosecutes complaints filed against attorneys alleging misconduct in violation of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. In 2020, she was appointed to become an Associate Justice for the Village of Monroe Justice Court in Orange County, NY.
